I had no idea this hotel was so spectacular! From convenient parking to friendly staff, everything exceeded my expectations. The building was graciously decorated, super clean, something interesting to explore in every corner of the massive lobby. My room looked brand new, with plenty of space and a nice view. The heating was efficient, the bed and pillows were so comfortable. I didn't use the kitchenette, but it had everything one would need. Super comfortable, quiet, convenient to restaurants and shops. Surprisingly small price. I've stayed at decent chain hotels for twice the $ and 1/4 the value overall. Anytime I go to Wichita, here's where I will stay.
At a challenging time for our Family, the staff and customer service extended such grace and kindness. Our Dad had cancer surgery on January 7th, 2021 at St. Francis. The Hospital was only 5 minutes away and was so convenient for our Mom and family to be close. Covid-19 has changed everything and because of it only one of us was allowed to visit daily and having the Hotel at Oldtown be our place of stay was more than comforting. We looked forward to seeing Jennifer and Renee each morning to update them on our Dad's condition. We felt like we became Family! Our Dad will be scheduled for a second surgery in March and We will be staying at the Hotel at Old Town once again! There really aren't enough words to express how we feel, so Thank you for everything!!
We stayed here one night while in town for a concert at Intrust Bank Arena. I wanted something with free parking within walking distance of the arena and this fit the bill. Check in and parking were super easy and the staff was friendly. The hotel is older but exceptionally clean and well maintained. Our room was spacious and again, very clean. We did not hear noise from the atrium area, but we were back pretty late after the concert. I would stay here again if in the area for another show.
We love to go to Old Town Hotel as a get away. Friendly, clean, and a bit nostalgic, at a very reasonable price. It's great to stay here and be able to eat and meander around Old Town in downtown Wichita.
